Pegasus (while IMAP-capable) is not Unicode-aware. It fails completely to understand any encoding consisting of more than 8 bits per character, thus CJK support is right out the window, and fails to display any character not inside WGL4, thus most of the other scripts go bye-bye too. That's why I switched to Opera M2, but even that it a bit shabby. Can't set the default message reading font in the preview pane. It doesn't even use the font specified for viewing fixed-width web text. I don't know exactly what it uses, but it looks like Courrier, maybe. I have downloaded Firebird, somewhat of an old version. Maybe I'll risk changing mail clients again, to see if it's any better. Paul
