Since I'm no longer Thelemic, I have no qualms about discussing this.
All Thelemites should start shunning the rest of this message if you want
to be true the Uncle Al's advice (Liber Al instructs that one should shun
anyone who discusses such important issues as "Love" and "Law").
"Love" within Thelema is a sort of great transcendent altruism beyond
altruism. Since each man is a star and each star is a god, the ultimate
good is to discover your Will and then express it. The second ultimate
good is to aid/not prevent others from experiencing their Thelema
(freedom), whether that is what they think they want to do or not. Doing
so is Love. (Will and mere desire are not the same thing, just as "Love"
and mere affection or concern.)
Thus, according to Uncle Al, you are to push yourself to and beyond any
and all internal limits you have on your behavior.
