Oh yes ! One had to understand i-akt-tog
(in-attention-took). I was thinking of German 'Jagd'
(hunting) + 'tog' (file, row, train). As to the
pronunciation, I have an idea of it but I just can't
explain it, being very bad at IPA, and my Yahoo email
server even worse. But you certainly had to say it
like 3 syllables, so not *jakt-*. As to the *o*, in
Norwegian it is often pronounced *u*, like in *ta det
rolig* or *ta det bare med ro* (just take it easy),
but not always (i sommeren = in the summer). It's
longer in *rolig* (and *tog*) than in *sommer*.

I understand it like that:
oegonen = the eye (article *en* postposed after oegon;
I wonder whether it's pronounced *oeyonen* or
*oegonen* ?)
laag = laid
foer = (probably *too much* ?; better ask Andreas)
laangt = long, or deep/far ? Norwegian *det er langt
igjen* = it's still far away
in = inside
but that's only my general feeling from Norwegian.
