Yes and no. There is a concept of an Old Maggel, of course, where the
orthography would make sense. But that would be probably the language as it was
1200 years ago ;)))) . And although there is this concept, I'm designing Maggel
synchronically, so Old Maggel doesn't really play a role. But if anyone is
interested to reconstruct it based on orthographical evidence and alternations,
you're more than welcome ;))) .
