Oh, of course not! (Apart perhaps from an f.) I'm not sure how this misinterpretation arose: 10mm - 8mm is 2 mm. Letters themselves mightn't increase in size, but to clearly fit a correction in (which might be sizeable), an extra two mils of space (for a total of about four, maybe five, but still not always enough for clarity after considering ascenders/descenders) which isn't enough. (Okay, it could be enough if you *really* wanted it to be. But perhaps I don't want it to be :) )

That's not what I said, though. I said *anyones* (implying anyone's I've seen). And yes, I would say everyone here would have bad handwriting by French standards, but if it's illegible by your standards, it's because you'd be refusing to read something that wasn't cursive more than some intrinsic quality of the writing. (A friend of mine has illegible handwriting---even when writing carefully. No-one would dispute this: it's not that it's written in a hard-to-decifer way, it's that it's illegible.) My single-spaced handwriting is legible because it takes as much space as is allocated (though it's still legible when small!) and makes clear distinctions between the lettershapes. ... At least when writing for other people; when writing for me it takes time to decypher :) )

I'm impressed :) -- Tristan <kesuari@...>
