Yes. "Abraracourcix" comes from the expression "à bras raccourcis" which is
difficult to translate. I cannot find right now a good way to explain it
but it has to do with fighting :)) . As for "Assurancetourix" it comes from
"assurance tous-risques", i.e. "comprehensive insurance", as opposed to
"third-party insurance". It probably refers to the kind of insurance he
must have to manage to pay all those dental and hospital costs ;)))) .
And by the way, "Panoramix" comes from the adjective "panoramique", not the
noun "panorama".
