A page talking about christian names for the feast of the annunciation
says:

Arab Christians call it (feast of the annunciation) 'id al-bishara or
"Feast of Good News."

So, al-bishara probably means good news, as in announcement (from that
example). But, i'm extending the montreiano meaning to include all types
of "news" (and the word seems to be related to: bashir - bringer of glad
tidings, bashshar - bringer of many glad tidings, bishr - joy, bushr -
joy, happiness)

(Besides, in the form "aubixara" it's probably not really recognizeable to
anyone who doesnt know the etymology. So i really dont think it matters
all that much if i take things literally here)
