Maybe in America. But I know it's the opposite in France for instance (the
standard for bottled water is way higher than the standard for tap water.
Actually, France has various standards for bottled water - eau minérale,
eau d source, etc..., each name corresponds to a different standard -, but
they are all much higher than the standards for tap water). Since I was
talking only about France and the Netherlands, your argument misses its
target. Especially since I was answering Tristan who is Australian ;)))) .
Nowhere I mentioned America in that post :))) .
Now it's interesting to know that America is different in that respect
(strangely different: if tap water is purer than bottled water, then I
really don't see the point of ever buying bottled water. In France and the
Netherlands at least, you buy bottled water because it *is* purer than tap
water).
