The spelling _Trållen_ looks quite funny. Although
"Standard Swedish" has /o:/ for _o_ in _troll_
most dialects have /3\/ -- a phoneme that for some
reason was excised from "Standard Swedish" --
corresponding to Old Scandinavian short /o/.
I'm of course quite partial to [3\], since it
is quite ubiquitous in my lect, all unstressed
vowels tending towards it, just as they tend
towards [@] in English, although the tendency
is not (yet) as pronounced in my form of Swedish.
