My dictionary provides "sweater" and "jersey" for the Swedish word I'd use for
the things. Sleeved thing of some tolerably warm material, normally pulled on
over the head. Worn over a t-shirt or similar.
Of course, I might've misunderstood what Tristan takes the term to mean ...
